Ryan Spencer

Managing Director

Ryan founded Pyramid Performance & Health in 2017 after gaining extensive experience across elite sport in both the UK and USA, working with organisations and athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLS, IRONMAN, and Leeds United FC.

Holding a Masters in Sport & Exercise Biomechanics, Ryan combines world-class experience with an innovative approach to strength & conditioning, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and performance testing — helping athletes of all levels unlock their full potential. Alongside leading Pyramid, Ryan also works as a HINSTA Performance Coach, supporting several Formula 4 racing drivers in developing the physical and performance attributes required to excel in motorsport.

Damien Farrow

Lead Performance Coach

Damien combines elite-level coaching experience with a strong academic background in sport science, exercise physiology, and strength & conditioning.

Holding an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science and a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Damien’s coaching philosophy centres around movement quality, coordination, and joint stability to help athletes build the foundations for speed, power, strength, and long-term performance. A UKSCA accredited coach, he previously worked as Lead Physical Performance Coach at Nottingham Forest Women, supporting elite athletes at the highest level.

Luke Hunton

Lead Rehabilitation Specialist

Luke is a graduate from the University of Nottingham with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport Rehabilitation. Passionate about helping people recover from injury, move better, and return to performing at their best, Luke combines expertise in rehabilitation, sports massage, manual therapy, and physical conditioning to support long-term recovery and resilience.

Alongside his role at Pyramid Performance & Health, he also works with Nottingham Forest Youth Academy, delivering rehabilitation and performance support within elite sport environments.

Ruby Randall

Personal Trainer & Performance Assistant

Passionate about helping people improve their fitness, confidence, and overall wellbeing, Ruby combines expert coaching with a supportive and motivating approach. She is currently studying for a BSc (Hons) in Sport, Fitness and Coaching, further developing her knowledge and expertise in health and performance.

Alongside delivering tailored training programmes designed to build strength, improve fitness, and achieve long-term results, she also offers sports massage treatments to help clients recover, reduce muscle tension, and move and perform at their best.

Sam Barrows

Sports Nutritionist

Sam combines elite-level experience with a practical, evidence-based approach to performance nutrition. Alongside his consultancy role at Pyramid, Sam also works as a Performance Nutritionist at Loughborough College supporting a variety of athletes.

Holding a Sports Science degree and a Master’s degree in Sports Nutrition, he also holds Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register Accreditation, International Society of Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK) accreditation, and is a UK Anti-Doping Advisor. Sam supports athletes and individuals of all abilities through tailored nutrition coaching designed to improve performance, recovery, body composition, and long-term health.

Chelsie Moult

Performance Psychologist

Chelsie specialises in supporting athletes across all ages and performance levels. Holding a BA (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Sport & Exercise Psychology, she is currently completing her PhD at Loughborough University alongside her HCPC qualification in Sport and Exercise Psychology.

With a particular interest in injury rehabilitation, junior athletes, and performance wellbeing, Chelsie combines evidence-based psychology with a compassionate and athlete-centred approach to help individuals build confidence, resilience, and long-term performance.

Ethan Kemp

Performance Intern

Ethan combines a strong academic background in sport science with practical experience in strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and athletic development.

Currently studying Sport and Exercise Science at Nottingham Trent University, Ethan is ASCT accredited and CIMSPA Level 3 qualified, with experience supporting both elite athletes and general population clients through rehabilitation, performance training, and physical testing at Pyramid Performance.

As a national-level basketball player and experience in basketball coaching, he is passionate about developing resilient, high-performing athletes and aspires to further bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance through postgraduate study in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
